There are openings or gaps in the roof structure of this new construction home (soffit & facia) where the metal drip edge is not complete leaving the roof decking exposed at the ends of the gables in the front of the home. These gaps should be sealed to keep rain water from entering the interior structure and to prevent water damage to the roof decking. This condition is commonly found during New Home Final Construction Inspections.
